   I saw a short news article that   
   the US national archives have made their records relating to ufos (and   
   whatever the kids call them now) available online.   
   Generally military and other records become available 30y after they were   
   written so thigs like Blue Book should now be totally readable via a search at   
   the archives.   
   One of the great things about the US -- while things can be slow to start,   
   when they start rolling they get real thorough and everyone pulls together.    
   So given the Congress has finally developed a bee in its bonnet about UFO   
   disclosure we should start seeing efforts like this come along regularly now.   
   Just as a very tiny sampler I'll list something below.   
   Natchurally after I heard this news I had to start doing   
   so e-searches to see just what they have online.   
   Hopefully it will include a complete list of the dates and times of the 13000   
   sightings reports from Blue Book. While the majority of it is likely to be   
   "junk" of one kind or another, data science techniques should be able to   
   extract lots of information    
   from just things like dates and times.   
   From the NUFORC data we can find that UFO's seem to have a work week, they   
   dont like to fly near air bases, they have affinities for certain planets and   
   asteroids and regions of the world.   
   With 13000 historical sightings we can check   
   whether this has "almways" been the case back to the 1940s.

   [Don't worry, it was probably just swamp gas or a Chinese satellite].   
   Twr 72 rpts object flying into their area about 700m infront [sic]   
   of them, AZ 310\xb0. Object came in slow over the ASP & landed. When   
   object moves it has a glowing light. It is about 15 - 20 ft across.   
   It is shaped like a big egg. Control twr rpts their radar did not   
   pick anything up. Object also does not seem to have any sound to it   
   when it moves.
