XPost: alt.paranormal, alt.atheism, alt.alien.research       XPost: sci.skeptic       From: jtem01@gmail.com              So many of life's mystery, so much of the "Magic" is       really just a farce...              The Trojan War is just a story. It's not history.              It's filled with magic and Pagan gods. Another clue: It appears       to be a retelling of the Egyptian siege of Jaffa. In that story       the Egyptians smuggled soldiers through the gates in bags or       baskets (I've read it both ways).              I say that NASA already has proof of life on Mars because       their search for life appears to be avoiding any hope of       finding life.              The magnifying lens on the camera can't see the vast majority       of life on earth, the resolution isn't high enough, and they       intentionally avoided the most promising areas for life       claiming fears of leaving contamination i.e. earth life.              Most life on Earth maxes out at 10 microns in size, for       example, while the "Fossil like" structures in the famous       Mars Rock topped out at maybe 2 microns, while the Mars       lander couldn't even see anything that was 12 microns in       size! It lacked the resolution.              The problem is, "Life on Mars" only gets us halfway there.       What we need is life that could not have resulted from earth       contamination.              Short term: Multicellular/macroscopic life. It's       excessively doubtful that there's been anywhere near time       enough for contamination to evolve into higher life forms.              Secondly: Fossilized life older than earth life.              There's evidence for bacterial life past 3 billion years on       earth, so if they can find something older or just as old       but more advanced, it would seem that life formed on Mars       independent of Earth...              Because finding life on Mars is a big deal, but not so big       if it was contamination hitching a ride on earth tech. And       it's not even a massive deal if it's billions of years old       but was carried to Mars from earth on debris ejected into       space by super volcanic eruptions or asteroid impacts.              Life on Mars is only truly HUGE if it's indigenous Mars       life. It's a big deal no matter what but it's nowhere       near as big a deal.                                                                             --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/tagged/The%20Book%20of%20JTEM/page/5              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
