My current barber has an electric that easily picks the hairs my own
electric doesn't pick, and is probably cheaper :-(

Mine is a Braun S6, to be used with foam. It doesn't pick 2 days old
hair, or very thin hairs. I can't use blades, they shave also tiny
invisible plimps and is tiring to tend to the bloody result.

I also have a rotative electric shaver (Remington), use dry, but leaves
   my face red and scorched.

I had no idea that electrics could be used with foam till my late
Canadian cousin bought one here on his last visit.
