From: suckoff@abuse.com              I am a freelance computer tech, and have been retained to replace a tape       drive in a SCO server running 5.0.5 SCO/Unix, it is at a doctors office that       is using custom writen software from a company that is no longer in       business. They do not have a 'root' or 'superuser' password. There are       files that i need to change but do not have permissions to do so...also this       system is quite old and they are not sure where the originial SCO/Unix discs       are(if they even have them)              i do have console access to this machine, and can login as a normal user.       Is there a root kit i can install or away to get superuser privs w/o putting       the hard drive in my BSD box and yanking the passwd files off and decrypting       them?                     Thanks              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
