|    Weired SCO/Unix Modem problem    |
|    17 Jul 03 20:47:50    |
From: suckoff@abuse.com              ok after following like 5 different how-tos i have a problem              The machine is about 2 years old, runs SCO/Unix 5.05,              the modem use to be attached to a digiboard, but is now on COM1, their are       no irq conflicts, using "cu -ltty1a dir" i can communicate with the modem       just fine.              the modem is for dial-in connections.              When i do an enable tty1A, the configuration is updated everything looks       good, but the modem will not complete the handshake almost as if the       register in the modem is not set right(which it is set at like 45 seconds       for completing the handshake) but then for some reason the modem goes H0 and       drops the call mid handshake.                     any ideas?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
