XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, alt.fan.states.indiana, talk.politics.guns       XPost: sac.politics       From: he-failed-to-repatriate-niggers@reparations.org              KOKOMO, Ind. — A Kokomo police officer who was recently fired for violating       multiple policies has officially been charged in Howard County after he       reportedly sexually assaulted a minor who had run away from her biological       father in Kokomo.              According to court documents, filed on Tuesday in Howard County, Sinme       Asomuyide was officially charged with:              One count of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 4 felony       One count of sexual battery, a Level 4 felony       One count of child seduction, a Level 5 felony       One count of official misconduct, a Level 6 felony       According to previous reports, an investigation into Asomuyide, a       probationary officer with less than a year with the Kokomo Police       Department, was first initiated by another law enforcement agency earlier       this month. The investigation was then conducted by the Indiana State Police       into the allegations.              The documents state that officials with the Bloomington, Illinois, Police       Department initially reported sexual abuse allegations related to Asomuyide       against a girl when she was in Kokomo. The girl, who was living with her       foster parents at the time in Illinois, had traveled to Kokomo to visit her       biological father.              On July 1, the documents said that the girl had been reported as a runaway.       The girl reported that she had been arrested by the Kokomo Police Department       and had been sexually assaulted by an officer.              In an interview with the girl, she reportedly told officers that she had       been on a “running away streak.” An officer, later identified as Asomuyide,       reportedly picked her up and was told to take her to a youth center in       Howard County.              While in the parking lot of the youth center, the girl told police that       Asomuyide reportedly asked for her phone number and for her to “hang out       with his daughter.” Asomuyide also reportedly asked the girl if she was       “sexually active,” as well as follow-up questions regarding the oldest man       she had been with.              The girl was eventually released from the youth center and was taken to the       home of a friend of her father’s. The documents said that Asomuyide       reportedly “pinged” the girl’s phone and found her location.              Asomuyide told the people at the home that he needed to speak with the girl       about her father. The documents said that Asomuyide then walked her out of       the home, handcuffed her and placed her in the back of his car.              The documents said that Asomuyide then reportedly took the girl to an       “abandoned lot.” The girl then told detectives that Asomuyide “started       touching (her)” even though she asked him to stop. The girl told detectives       that she reportedly tried to get out of the car but Asomuyide had told her       no.              “(Asomuyide) then pulled her closer and ‘put (her) hand on him,'” the       documents said . “‘He wouldn’t let me pull away so I just gave up… On       the       drive back, (Asomuyide) told her, ‘if you tell anyone what happened, it’s       gonna be on you.'”              Kokomo probationary officer arrested by Indiana State Police, preliminarily       charged sexual misconduct with a minor       The girl told detectives that she had not seen Asomuyide since that       incident. The documents stated that Asomuyide reportedly deactivated his       body camera before his interaction with the girl at the youth center.              In an interview with police, Asomuyide said he had multiple interactions       with the girl, since she reportedly attempted to run away multiple times.       During the time when Asomuyide took the girl to the youth center, Asomuyide       reportedly told detectives that he was “just trying to talk some sense into       her” and denied giving her his phone number and denied talking about sex.              When asked about the last time he picked the girl up, Asomuyide reportedly       changed his story multiple times, later admitting that she had texted him on       his personal phone. Asomuyide denied touching the girl inappropriately or       taking off his pants.              Officials with the Kokomo Police Department previously asked members of the       public with information regarding the investigation into Asomuyide’s       allegations to call the department at (765) 456-7017.              https://fox59.com/news/indycrime/docs-kokomo-officer-sexually-assaulted-       runaway-minor-in-abandoned-lot/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
