KDOC records show he was released from prison and has been on       parole since February.              Officers were sent at 1:33 p.m. to a welfare check call in the area of I-       135 and Pawnee Street for a report of a child in a canal. Police, with the       help of the Wichita Fire Department, found the 11-month-old girl, Wichita       police spokesperson Kristopher Gupilan said.              The girl was taken to a hospital and is in police protective custody. She       is OK and had no reported injuries, Gupilan said Wednesday morning.              Detectives are looking into what led to the infant being placed in a       canal. Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to call       detectives at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.              KDOC records show the 34-year-old man who was arrested has prior       convictions for assault, aggravated assault, theft, aggravated burglary,       distribution/possession of drugs and possession of weapon by a felon. All       the convictions occurred in Sedgwick County in 2015 and 2016.              https://www.kansas.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
