XPost: talk.politics.guns, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, sac.politics       XPost: memphis.general       From: democrats@caused.it              MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The man accused of shooting a woman in the face a few       months back appeared before a judge on Friday morning.              Charles Hunter, 25, is now facing up to two decades in prison if he is found       guilty. He is being charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment,       and domestic assault.              Back in June, first responders were called to North Merton Street just a few       turns from Chelsea Avenue.              The call for help was for a woman inside one of the units at the Cavelier       Court complex.              Investigators say Hunter told them the victim was twirling a gun and shot       herself in the face. Incredibly the woman not only survived, but was able to       tell police that Hunter shot her.              The woman says that Hunter pointed the gun, daring her to ‘say something.’       She did – at which point its alleged he pulled the trigger.              Hunter will remain in jail after he told the judge he could not afford his       $100,00 bond. The judge also reminded him to stay away from the alleged victim.              Charles Hunter is due back in court August 12 for a bail review hearing.              https://wreg.com/news/local/man-accused-of-shooting-woman-in-fac       -appears-in-court/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
