XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, memphis.general, talk.politics.guns       XPost: sac.politics, rec.arts.tv       From: fire@biden.now              MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man accused of stealing over $61,000 worth of TVs during       a train heist in Midtown is now in jail, police say.              Paul McQuarter, 30, is charged with burglary of a building, theft of property       $60,000 – $250,000, and destroying/interfering with a utility line. He is       being held in jail on a $30,000 bond.              On June 18, Memphis Police say they responded to a prowler call at York Avenue       and Tanglewood Street. The witness stated that several men were stealing items       from a train.              Officers say when they arrived at the scene, multiple men were seen running       away where 13 Samsung televisions were lying in the field. The men were going       north, crossing the railroad tracks.              After a short period, officers say they saw a group of men come off the       railroad tracks and walk onto Central Avenue.              One of the men was identified as Paul McQuarter. He was detained at that time.              A gray GMC Acadia with several boxes of Meguiar’s car soap stacked next to       it was found across the street from the vacant lot.              On June 19, investigators say they were able to find two more Samsung       televisions on the north side of the railroad tracks.              On July 16, Best Buy confirmed that the container was burglarized and missing       117 televisions worth $61,275.18.              Paul Mcquarter is scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.              https://wreg.com/news/local/man-accused-of-stealing-61k-worth-of       tvs-from-train-in-midtown/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
