   ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating the sexual assault   
   of a woman who died Saturday morning at an area hospital.   
      
   St. Louis Metropolitan Police said investigators are awaiting a cause and   
   manner of death from the medical examiner’s office, but the investigation of   
   the sexual assault of the victim is ongoing. She was described as a   
   31-year-old woman who EMS    
   transported to the hospital on Aug. 6 from the 4300 block of North Florissant   
   Avenue.   
      
   Police said officers responded to the hospital after the victim arrived and   
   she was unconscious and showed signs of being a victim of sexual assault. The   
   victim never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at 9:48 a.m. at   
   the hospital.
