XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, mn.politics, talk.politics.guns       XPost: sac.politics, alt.politics.democrats       From: democrats@are.stupid              A judge found a man guilty of fatally shooting a man on Christmas Day in       Hibbing in 2018.              Judge Rachel Sullivan on Monday issued an order finding Jerome Dionte Spann,       32, guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, second-degree murder and       second-degree assault in the death of Jeryel Octavious McBeth, 34, of Hibbing,       on Dec. 25, 2018.              Spann remained at large for a few days before being arrested in St. Paul.              Spann had waived his right to a jury trial.              â€śThe convictions in this matter have been a long time in coming for the       family of Jeryel McBeath. We are hopeful this will provide the family some       peace as we move forward to sentencing," Assistant St. Louis County Attorney       Jessica Fralich said in a        statement.              A sentencing date hasn't been set. Though a first-degree murder conviction       does carry a mandatory life sentence, state law says.              https://bringmethenews.com/minnesota-news/judge-finds-man-guilty       in-hibbing-christmas-day-murder              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
