   A 33-year-old St. Louis Park man has been sentenced to over 47 years in prison   
   for the murder of a pregnant woman outside of an Amazon facility in Lakeville.   
      
   Court records show Donte McCray will serve 306 months (25½ years) for one   
   count of second-degree murder and an additional 261 months (21¾ years) for a   
   second count of second-degree murder. He will serve both sentences   
   consecutively and pay more than $2,   
   000 in fines.   
      
   McCray pleaded guilty in October to both counts. As part of the plea deal, two   
   additional counts of second-degree murder have been dismissed.   
      
   Kyla O'Neal, 31, was fatally shot in the neck by McCray in the parking lot of   
   the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Jan. 8. Her newborn son, Messiah, was   
   delivered as attempts were made to the save the mother's life, but she died in   
   a hospital the following    
   week.   
      
   The baby unfortunately also died days after he was delivered.   
      
   McCray, who was the father of the child O'Neal was carrying, had been getting   
   "aggressive" at O'Neal's home earlier in the day, prompting O'Neal to call her   
   mother to come over.   
      
   The two were having an argument over McCray recently having a child with   
   another woman. The argument became physical, with McCray telling O'Neal that   
   her and her family weren't "bulletproof."   
      
   Surveillance footage captured McCray running alongside O'Neal's vehicle before   
   shooting her.   
      
   O'Neal was studying to be a nurse at the time. She is survived by her three   
   other children.
