   Sheikh Nyane, 36, pleaded guilty in November to first-degree attempted murder.   
      
   A St. Paul man who repeatedly stabbed his ex-wife’s lawyer in her Fridley   
   office was sentenced Friday to 16 years and eight months in prison, the Star   
   Tribune reported.   
      
   Sheikh Nyane, 36, pleaded guilty in November to first-degree attempted murder.   
   The charge arose from Nyane’s stabbing of Fridley attorney Terri Melcher on   
   June 11, 2010. In the courtroom, Nyane told Melcher that his actions that day   
   were “evil.”
