   MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An officer with the Memphis Police Departmentis charged   
   with rape.   
      
   A sexual assault complaint was made to police on November 1. The victim tells   
   police she was sexually assaulted by 28-year-old Officer Al Bond at a party.   
      
   Memphis Police Department Sex Crimes Bureau investigated the case. The Shelby   
   County District Attorney General's Office Special Victims Unit reviewed the   
   case and a warrant was issued for Bond of Rape.   
      
   Bond was reportedly off-duty at the time of the incident. He had been with the   
   police department since 2017 but has since been let go.   
      
   Bond was booked into the Shelby County Jail on Nov. 2.
