   A 21-year-old Memphis man has been jailed for allegedly assaulting and raping

   MEMPHIS, Tenn.--A 21-year-old Memphis man has been jailed for allegedly   
   assaulting and raping the pregnant mother of his child.   
      
   According to the arrest affidavit for Octavius Dukes, the woman says she was   
   home with her children around 11pm on the night of October 18th when she found   
   the kitchen window open. As she was trying to close the window, Dukes had   
   already entered the home    
   and started hitting her in the back and face as she was holding their   
   11-month-old daughter.   
      
   The woman fell to the ground, causing her daughter to hit her head on a   
   stairwell. Dukes then allegedly took money from the woman's purse and took her   
   cell phone and keys so she couldn't leave. The affidavit states he then forced   
   her to "perform oral sex    
   on him and then force penile vaginal sex" without her consent. He then   
   allegedly told the victim to stop crying or he would "hit her again."   
      
   He left the home the next morning and the victim called police. She was   
   transported to the hospital by ambulance and suffered injuries to her left   
   eye, left hand, left arm and complained of back pain. The victim, is also 9   
   months pregnant with the    
   assailant's child.   
      
   Dukes is facing charges of rape, aggravated burglary, theft, and false   
   imprisonment.
