PAUL, MN — St. Paul Police are investigating after a man forced his way       into a home, robbed a woman, and then sexually assaulted her.              Just before 4:30 a.m. Monday, officers were called to a residence on the 300       block of Snelling Avenue South on a report of a sexual assault.              At the residence, officers spoke to a woman who said she was sleeping when she       heard someone pounding on the side door of her home.              An unknown man forced entry into the home and robbed her of money before       pulling out a weapon and sexually assaulting her, the woman told police.              Police did not say what the weapon was.              The man fled the home after the assault and the victim called 911. St. Paul       Fire medics transported the victim to Regions Hospital to be evaluated.              Officers secured the scene and searched the neighborhood for the suspect, but       he has not been found.              Police said the suspect is an African American male, 25 to 35 years old,       5’10” to 5’11”, wearing a black t-shirt, black pants with a zipper on       the right leg, and black heavy-soled shoes.              Police also described him as "dark-complected and having a vertical scar       extending from his sternum to his belt line."              Investigators from the St. Paul Police Department's sexual violence unit and       forensic services unit processed the scene.              Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call investigators at       (651) 266-5685.              https://patch.com/minnesota/saintpaul/st-paul-woman-sexually-ass       ulted-after-home-invasion              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
