   >In most of the cases, he approached women on the street and often forced   
   >them into alleyways to assault them, sometimes armed. In a few of the   
   >cases, he entered apartment buildings to assault women. All of the cases   
   >took place in Northwest D.C., and most were on 14th and 16th streets   
   >Northwest.

   >“We would also like to acknowledge the survivors involved in these   
   >numerous cases. Their bravery in coming forward to report these crimes
