   Black whore Alexis Wider, shooter.

Irvin Taylor's family is grieving and searching for answers after he was
allegedly shot and killed by his neighbor, Alexis Wider, on Dec. 9 in Richland
   County.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A family is desperate for answers after a family
member was shot and killed in his apartment on Dec. 9.

Richland County deputies said the person who killed Irvin Taylor was one of
   his neighbors, 30-year-old Alexis Wider.

Taylor’s sister, Paulette Collins, said, "Why?" is the heartbreaking
question she and her family have asked every day since the incident.

“She was trying to kill my brother; she wanted to kill my brother, and I
don’t understand why she wanted to kill my brother, who has literally helped
her and would have help anybody. I don’t understand,” Collins said.

On Dec. 9, Richland County deputies responded to a call at 400 Percival Road
after reports of a man shot in the torso.

An incident report from the sheriff’s department states he was shot after
one of his neighbors asked him for sugar. A witness said she caught the
incident on her ring camera and described his last moments.

“At about 7:40 p.m., that’s when I heard the first round of gunshots," she
said. "And I went to my door, and then I heard another round of gunshots, and
then that’s when I heard my neighbor, Irvin, yelling for his daughter to
   call the police
   because he’d been shot.”

Wider was accused of shooting Taylor and is now in custody at Richland County
   Detention Center.

Collins describes her brother as selfless, always thinking of others, adding
that her family is still trying to wrap their heads around his being gone.

“He was a giving person; he was a happy person; he didn’t have a problem
   helping nobody," she said.

   “I’ve known him for 25 years; it’s a heavy loss. It still doesn’t --
it's still hard to accept that we have to keep going, but it's still hard to
accept because of the magnitude and hole it left in all our lives," said
   Taylor's best friend,
   Stephanie Monroe.

Now, all they have is the memories of their loved ones.

“I'm trying to act like he’s still here, I've been here acting like my
brother is still here he hasn’t gone anywhere and I didn’t want to face
none of this, because it never shouldn’t happened," said Collins.

Wider was initially charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon
during a violent crime, but the attempted murder charge was upgraded to murder.
