(WCIV) — Police say a 34-year-old employee of Embassy       Suites in North Charleston turned himself in for raping and sexually       assaulting a woman in the hotel’s stairwell on June 16.              Terrill Nelson turned himself in to the North Charleston Police Department on       Aug. 28.              According to a police report, the victim, who he knew, was in town for a       church event and staying at the hotel on International Boulevard in North       Charleston.              Nelson was trying to convince the victim to move to Charleston and he would       get her a job at his limousine company, the report states.              They agreed to talk more about the job prospect on the 9th floor of the hotel       later that day, according to the police report.              While discussing the job, the suspect physically forced the victim into the       stairwell where he sexually assaulted her and raped her, according to the       police report.              She repeatedly told him no, the report states.              The victim’s undergarments were obtained and tested.
