NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Police say a 34-year-old employee of Embassy
Suites in North Charleston turned himself in for raping and sexually
assaulting a woman in the hotel’s stairwell on June 16.

Terrill Nelson turned himself in to the North Charleston Police Department on

According to a police report, the victim, who he knew, was in town for a
church event and staying at the hotel on International Boulevard in North
   Charleston.

Nelson was trying to convince the victim to move to Charleston and he would
get her a job at his limousine company, the report states.

They agreed to talk more about the job prospect on the 9th floor of the hotel
later that day, according to the police report.

While discussing the job, the suspect physically forced the victim into the
stairwell where he sexually assaulted her and raped her, according to the
   police report.

She repeatedly told him no, the report states.

The victim’s undergarments were obtained and tested. The female had evidence
of trauma to her private area, the police report states.
