   Jerrode Barker, charged with rape(Vanderburgh County Jail)   
      
   EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A Florida man is charged with rape in Evansville.   
      
   33-year-old Jerrode Barker, Jr. was arrested Saturday afternoon on South   
   Rosenberger Avenue.   
      
   Police say someone called 911 because Barker had a woman in a headlock.   
      
   When police arrived, they say Barker ran into an apartment.   
      
   He was taken into custody.   
      
   The victim tells police Barker forced her to do sex acts, beat her, choked her   
   to the point of blacking out, and raped her.   
      
   While arresting Barker, police say they found some marijuana.   
      
   Besides rape, his charges include battery, strangulation, and marijuana   
   possession.
