   BATON ROUGE — Jeremiah Jamal Crosby, 26, was recently sentenced by Judge   
   Louise Hines to 80 years in behind bars after he was convicted of one count of   
   sexual battery (of a child under the age of five), one count of production of   
   pornography involving    
   juveniles and eight counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles.   
      
   Crosby will not have the possibility of parole, probation, or suspension of   
   sentence, according to the Attorney General’s Office.   
      
   On Feb. 7, 2024, the AG’s office says a search at Crosby’s home in Baton   
   Rouge revealed videos of child pornography and videos of bestiality. When   
   executing the search warrant, investigators say they met with Crosby, who   
   agreed to speak to them    
   regarding this investigation.   
      
   EBRSO opened an investigation about a cyber tip from the National Center for   
   Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Officials said the tip contained child   
   sexual abuse material of children under 13.   
      
   During the interview with Crosby, he admitted to having images/videos of child   
   pornography and bestiality on his phone. Officials say he also allegedly   
   admitted to raping a three-year-old on several occasions while she was left in   
   his care, arrest    
   records showed.   
      
   “There’s a special place in hell for people who rape little children.   
   Eighty years is not long enough, but I’ll take it. Great work by my team for   
   getting justice for this victim,” said Attorney General Liz Murrill.   
      
   This case was investigated by General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of   
   Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and its   
   affiliate members including the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office and   
   the U.S. Department of Homeland    
   Security.
