   BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has arrested   
   a man for allegedly raping a juvenile, sexual abuse of an animal and other   
   charges.   
      
   According to officials, Jeremiah Jamal Crosby, 25, is charged with 50 counts   
   of pornography involving a juvenile, 100 counts of sexual abuse of an animal,   
   3 counts of first degree rape; victim under thirteen years of age, and 3   
   counts of pornography    
   involving juveniles.   
      
   Investigators say they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and   
   Exploited Children (NCMEC) that contained a video, image of child sexual   
   abuse. Snapchat reported that the video, image was uploaded to the platform on   
   December 2, 2023.

   According to documents, a digitally prepared warrant revealed the email and   
   the IP address associated with the tip belonged to the accused. It also   
   revealed a Google activity folder that contained several search terms related   
   to animal pornography and    
   pedophile pornography, officials said.   
      
   With further investigation, detectives were able to get a search warrant for   
   Crosby’s home where he agreed to speak with investigators. Officials found   
   50 videos of child porn, 100 videos of bestiality, and three videos of him   
   raping a child under the    
   age of 13 years of age on his cellphone. The metadata showed that the videos   
   were produced at Crosby’s address, officials added.   
      
   The clothing of the juvenile that was seen in the video were also found at   
   Crosby’s home, documents state.   
      
   During the interview, detectives said Crosby admitted to the evidence found on   
   his cellphone and raping the juvenile several times while left in his care.   
      
   “I applaud my agents and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies for   
   working together every day to protect the most vulnerable in our community. We   
   will not turn a blind eye to heinous crimes against children,” said Attorney   
   General Murrill.   
      
   “I applaud the continued work of the agents on these types of cases   
   involving children, and I appreciate the cooperation and collaboration of our   
   law enforcement partners. We will continue to seek out and apprehend child

   Crosby was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.   
      
   This arrest was a result of an investigation with the East Baton Rouge   
   Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit,   
   Louisiana State Police SVU, Gonzales Police Department, and Homeland Security   
   Investigations.
