 JG> we lost power for about a day at our house, and 2 days so far at work.

  I was on a Zoom Meeting with the Portage County Amateur Radio Service
(PCARS) Club in Ohio last night. Right after they drew the 50/50 (the
winner wasn't me, but he donated it back to the club), my power went out!!
I had to email one of the officers, noting "my disappearance wasn't due to
my going off in a temper tantrum, because I didn't win...but apparently,
some idiot took out a power pole. It was out for 5 minutes in total. I'm
going my nets via the Verizon Mi-Fi and the laptop, in case that happens
again.
