So for local packet work I was using Outpost which was the easiest path to take - it sets up a pretty basic terminal / tnc that works in conjunction with direwolf via AGWPE if I remember correctly. Where I live packet is really tough as the closest BBS is just on the edge of what I can reach with my current configuration. For the ISS I started playing around with UISS which helps manage the very tight constraints of a pass. But I've also been able to decode packets on just my HT's build in APRS functionality. I also managed to use an Android app called APRS droid along with a cheap Yaesu HT! Even managed to reach the station with the rubber duck! -+- QuikEdit 2.41R+ --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Sursum Corda!
