I run CNet Amiga 5.21a on the Amiga Forever emulation package and haven't had a
 socket problem.  However, there was a trick we had to do with the
serial.device to get it to work.  You might check out the support forum for
CNet at Future World II bbs.  Find the telnet address for that bbs at
cnetbbs.net
