 7. This Week's Stories and Requests for Help/Blast from the past We try to post stories and comments from our readers each week. Send your story to newsletter@tias.com. Last week we reprinted a story published on January 1, 2004. Mary G from North Dakota sent us the in response to that posting: When my mother in law passed away, my husband was executor for her. She was an antique dealer for many years. She had put the names of her family on objects in her curio cabinets. This made the process so easy with no guess work She had also made a picture album for each of her children, with their pictures of them and their family into each one. We treasure the album she made for us. What wonderful memories. I am going to start marking my things I have. This makes a grieving process so much easier to deal with. I have also given a few things to my children already. Mary G North Dakota We think this is a great topic. Let us know what you plan to do with your antiques and collectibles! Tell us your story. Send it to news etter@tias.com. A customer sent in a picture of a small tool and wanted help determining what it might be used for: "Do you have any idea what this is? The tip is a flat tip screw driver. The hand swivels 360 degrees. On the back, it just says PAT. Any info you have would be very much appreciated." Here's a link to the post, including a picture and a couple of comments: http://bit.ly/2jr7PxA Any other ideas? -------------------------- --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) |
