(Valid for US addresses only) Here is a collecting story from Nancy F in ND. Thanks for sharing, Nancy! My kids sometimes refer to my active collecting gene as "hoarding", but what do they know! I'm a quilter and have already warned my son about selling my books at a rummage since several of them are out of print and very collectable. But my favorite sewing things to collect are the old silver thimbles that have been used and used until there's a tiny hole! I string them up with a bead and make a little bell to hang on a wallhanging or the edge of a curtain. It's a nice memory of a quilter from another generation. -------------------------- --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) |
