Merlene H sent this: Jim H asked for a recipe for Hot Fudge Topping that reminded me of this one. It's from a can of Carnation Evaporated Milk, really good and easy. You could add Amaretto. Hope this helps. Merlene Chocolate Fudge Sauce 1 1/2 c (12 oz can) Carnation Evaporated Milk 2 c (12 oz pkg) Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips 2 t vanilla extract Combine evaporated milk and chips, microwave a minute and a half. Stir and continue in microwave 30 seconds at a time until smooth. Add vanilla. Store in frig. *Note - the recipes are submitted by fellow Collectors Newsletter readers and are not checked for accuracy or tested by the TIAS staff. Keep in mind that many of these recipes were created at a time when there were no worries about such things as raw eggs, for example - so modern kitchen safety should prevail. 9. We don't have any special requests this week. Does anyone have a favorite fall vintage recipe they'd like to share?
