We try to post stories and comments from our readers each week. Send your

One of our readers has an old sewing machine he's working on to refurbish. 
Does anyone have info on the history of this particular model?

"I just received a sewing machine that I have not seen in my 71 years and am
trying to learn something of its history.  It is an Sew EZ Hamilton-Beach
Electro 3053598 Electro.  It is a vibrating Shuttle and the singer Bobbins fit
it.  It has to be close to 100 years old all the wiring has rotted away so all
I have to do is rewire and fix the case.  But I wanted to learn more about
this machine's history."
