Love the newsletter - I read it faithfully! Today I purchased a really interesting item, but nothing in my research has revealed what it really is. Here's what I've learned: Hallmarks show it was made in the Netherlands for export. It's sterling silver Made between 1875 - 1895 Unlike the others I've found, this one is made in THREE parts, rather than TWO. A British website has a similar one for sale for over $2000, but it's only in two parts. Others just like it are designed for snuff or pills, but I'd like to know as those of you who are way knowledgeable than I, what this is. Hope you can help me!
