Ben, I dumped McAfee Security Suite but kept their SiteAdvisor for Firefox. I'm using Avast! free for anti-virus and all is OK so far. I'm using the FortKnox Firewall and am learning how to train it. Every hour FortKnox pops up a request for a Adobe Flash update. I haven't allowed it, instead I go to Control Panel and check the version of Flash and find out that I have the current version. I don't see any setting I can change to stop Flash asking for a update every hour at 42 minutes past each hour. Do you have any ideas? Another thing I have been getting FortKnox pop ups about sometimes is Netbios Name Service wanting me to grant it permission when FortKnox says to Deny it, so I click on the No button.....17 times in a row for the ip 169.254.255.255 port 137 UDP every time it asks for permission. Then Netbios Name Service changes the ip to 192.168.1.255 port 137 UDP, and FortKnox still says Deny so I click the No button 6 or 7 times until it quits bugging me. I am still afraid something is in my XP box that even Avast! free hasn't found, what do you think? Am I overly paraniod?
