I have two lines.  One for personal use.  I have a cell phone but when at home,
for phone calls I use the land line.  I had called Bell at one time to
disconnect the second line, due to costs.  They decided I could have it for
free.  I noticed though they are still charging the extra fees like 911,
touchtone, etc.  but no basic phone fees.
