hahahaha... i looked and looked for several years before my w98 fell over...
the best i could find, but i didn't take, was an install ISO thing from
russian territory... or somewhere over there... it was supposedly all fixed up
with all the latest but i just didn't trust that there wasn't some embedded
malware in it...

i've got several of those with valid licenses but they don't have fixpacks
applied like w2kSP4 did...

either way, it tooks years longer than m$ wanted but i was finally forced to
leave w98 behind... i firmly believe that this is why they also removed the
updates and the update CD they used to sell... their story was that it took
too much room on the servers that anyone with any real brains knows that was
c4rp ;)
