I'm pleasantly surprised. Windows95 and Office95 remind me of when Windows
really started to take off. My first impression is that we haven't come *that*
far in 17 years as you'd think, at least from an interface perspective. Most of
the basics were there, running in less memory than today's video cards have
onboard.

The browsers sucked - I have Firefox 1.something and IE 5.5, and they choke on
a lot of web pages.

98 SE might be a better retro environment - looks like Firefox supported 98
much longer than 95.
