AA> AA> A large area of my province is affected. Trees are most often to blame. I get occasional power outages. Normally blamed on trees as well. But I live in an odd area where we aren't technically in the city limits of Houston, but it surrounds us. So as an unincorporated area of the county hidden away like that, updates to the services lag. The bad part it we have well water, not city water, so power outages also knock out the well pumps. In 2008, Hurricane Ike knocked out the power around Houston for a while. My parents were lucky, only a few hours. Where I live now was a few days. I lived about 1.5 miles from where I do now, and was without power or water for 2 weeks. --- tg BBS v0.6.2 * Origin: Fido by Telegram BBS by Stas Mishchenkov (2:460/58) SEEN-BY: 1/123 18/200 19/10 90/1 120/340 123/131 124/5016 154/10 203/0 SEEN-BY: 221/0 1 6 360 226/30 227/114 229/101 424 426 452 664 1016 SEEN-BY: 230/0 240/1120 2100 5138 5411 5832 5853 249/206 317 400 280/464 SEEN-BY: 280/5003 288/100 292/8125 310/31 317/3 320/219 322/757 342/200 SEEN-BY: 396/45 423/81 120 460/58 777 1124 5858 633/280 640/1138 1321 SEEN-BY: 640/1384 712/848 770/1 2454/119 5054/30 PATH: 460/58 640/1384 221/1 280/464 240/5832 229/426 |
