With the help of the google-fiend (errr, friend) ..it looks like trollybuses
have been in use in USA and Canada since the early 1900's in city/urban areas.
They are in use in many cities to this day.  So, I'd say that "ever seen"
(meaning, never seen) is unlikely by people living in or visiting urban
centers.   Why the concern?
