The beauty of Telegram (+ @Fido2telebot) is that it opens  
access to some Fidonet echos for ALL smartphone users,  
initially.

Then, if there is an alternative laptop/desktop option, maybe  
that person could be persuaded to enter the Fidonet world for a  
totally immersive experience?

Android users could be persuaded to try Aftershock or HotdogEd.

It's really up to users/moderators of this world to educate.

But Telegram (+ @Fido2telebot) is the only option for iPhone  
users.

Getting started with Telegram is just TWO steps:

[1] Install Telegram
[2] Send %HELP and %LIST to the @Fido2telebot to get started!

Do Aftershock/HotdogEd make it easier than that?  :D
