For sure.  I did look myself but lacking any so-called smart devices with
Android there is no way I can say for sure it works ... if it even exists and
is as capable as the linux version.  If so then that is definetly something
that can be made to work for both online and offfline fidonet MSGing just like
mom used to do.

gopher should be also doable and probably desirable.  Offhand methinks that
would be the way to go.

Same here.  However I have experience writing software in fortran and later c
way back when ... and even got paid for it.  :-)
