Yeah I know, remember I've lived down there also . Up here we're still
in the zone where it's essential, but now
and then it's nice to be able to get fresh air.

YOu can't find much at all around here without the ethanol
additive.

RN> Yes, but that's optional, isn't it? I mean you can still pay before

Right, but the tocuh screen sin't optional if that's what
they have to work the pump. Even if you pay cash before you pump you still
ahve to interact with the pump. IF it offers anything other than discreet
controls that are tactilely
apparent I won't patronize the business.

RN> I haven't seen those. Down here, you swipe your card and enter your
RN> pin number; then select the grade of gas you want.
Right but i"m not swiping a card, and many of those, even if you paid cash you
have to interact with it. Kroger and a
couple of otehr places that offer the card at the pump still have actual
buttons to interact with the pump, but there are a few stations around here
that have gone to all flat panel
touch screens, whether swiping a card or not. I try not to
patronize those places that have that, even if the price is
comparable because that means Kathy has to interact with the device at least
to get it started.
Regards,
Richard
