RW> MH> Just wish I could convert my gas to run on natural gas. It is around RW> MH> 40 cents a term right now - lowest price I have ever seen. RW>Therm...if you can find the conversion kit, do it. Your engine will last RW>forever. Wel at leasr MICH Longer. Tehre is a smal proce though and that is a small reduction in engien Horsepower becasue of the Lower BTU per unit of Natural gas as compaired to Gasoline. This downside can be made up by Raising the compression ratio of the engine and changes in the spark advance becasue of the Higher Octaine Rating, about 130 for Natural Gas, as compaired to Gasoline. In fact the producvtion Natural Gas Honda engine Horsepower in Higher than the Gasoline engined one. With no engine modifications you get an about 10% power reduction. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0 * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here. Join Us: www.DocsPl (1:123/140) |
