Planning in advance is great, provided life doesn't throw you any curve balls. My previous home would have been paid off last year. I had a 15 year mortgage on it, but like you, a failed marriage threw me back financially a bit. I have been re-married for 7 years, and back in a 30 year mortgage on a much larger home. Between accelerated mortgage payments and additional payments each month, it is basically going to be a 20 year loan. I keep cars forever. When I buy a new car, I keep it. We need people that think like us in politics. We have not seen fiscal responsibility in along time! - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) |
