RW> RW>> So does owning a house, but we'll all have to live with that. RW> RW>> RW> MH> Yes, but owning a home will always be better than throwing money out RW> MH> the window on rent. RW>Some people don't believe that because the money paid in rent is a cost RW>of living, no matter where that is. I had a friend who rented and put what RW>he saved in loan interest into a money market fund. He died a rich man and RW>someone else rented his apartment the following month. TOTALLY WRONG Thinking. I just cranked a few figures from younger years in the loan calcualtor and for a $95,000 Home Laoan with a $700 per month payment one would have only saved $93780 in Interest. THAT IS FAR from Rich. AND after the $700 stops that part of what you called "cost of living" drops dramaticly as only a much smaller amount of property taxes remains For those that can swing the payments NOT buying a house is Terminally STUPID I canot express how great it feels to only be paying the property Taxes to put a roof over my head. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
