I've had three of those in service at one time. Unless they're used on a
daily basis, they die just as readily as any other. I'm down to two now,
but one of them will probably die if it hasn't already while it sits idle
in my race car. The only one that I can rely on is the one in my pickup,
because I use it regularly.
Meantime, I've replaced the dead Optima in my Z28 with a quality lead/acid
battery from O'Reilly's...
Those Optima batterys have priced themselves out of the affordable price
range of most people with battery problems.
Me included.
