I don't have the original battery in my HD. Don't recall the brand, but
bought it from the motorcycle dealer where I bought my HD. I just plug it
into the trickle charger when I don't ride it for more than a few weeks and it
stays on the trickle all winter long. It has been going strong for 6 years
that way. Fires right up on the first start in the spring.

Looks like I won't have to test out the warranty after-all. The Monte Carlo
started right up this weekend after sitting all week. I think the battery was
just getting weak from the corrosion on the terminals - added to the fact that
it was sitting for several weeks.

No grade in the driveway. Eventually, we need re-organize to at least get one
of the cars in the garage. My bike and tools take up the other side of the
garage.

THey just don't make garages large enough. Getting a decent sized vehicle in
there, I can't open the refrigerator door, can hardly get out of the vehicle,
etc.

I don't mind parking outside unless it is pouring down rain and I have loads
of groceries to bring in the house.
