Actually, I was thinking in terms of 10-12ea 12v batteries in series,
which makes up 120vdc. Then a 2nd bank making up the other 120vdc and
converting each to AC, providing 220vac.

That's something else...I can probably use a solid state voltage detector
for regulation.
