Yes, nothing like a brake line failure to get your heart racing and adrenaline
pumping.  Quick thinking had me use the emergency brake when it happened on my
old Malibu.  

It is one thing to have a failure do to rust on your power steering, but it is
another when it is the brake line - or gas line.
