I never had the opportunity to watch someone else fix cars.  I'm just one of
those people that will try to do most anything themselves.  

These days it is easier to learn based on the vast amount of documentation,
forums, and of course YouTube.  One of my favorite channels to watch is the
DIY channel.  I'm a Do-It-Yourselfer and enjoy the learning that comes along
with it.
