That's a lot cheaper to fix than rebuilding the trans. It is going to be in the 60s this weekend - so I'll be putting my mechanic hat on. First thing is the power steering pressure hoses. Then oil changes for the Durango and Monte Carlo. I am looking into the TCC Solenoid repair to see how difficult it will be. Trying to find info on the 2001 Durango transmission (4.7L V-8). So far, it appears it would involve a pan drop + value body removal. Trying to find the exact process and how difficult it would be before diving in. Plus, I will need to order the proper part(s). - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) |
