It's do-able on your own, but you'll need an engine 'hanger'...basically
it's a device that sits on each side of the engine bay and attaches to the
engine to 'hang' it while you remove the motor mount. You can accomplish
the 'hang' with a cherry picker if you don't mind it being in your way.
Don't try to use a floor jack because you won't find a suitable place to
support the engine and transaxle, with the oil pan of each being the
largest target under the car.
You might find a tool rental place that has the engine hanger...don't call
it that because I'm not sure of the technical name, but you can describe
what you're wanting to do and ask if they have a tool to support the
engine while you change out the motor mount.
I'd estimate that it's a 30 to 45 minute job, with the right tools. That
means the repair shops charge $400/hour with a one hour minimum...such is
life in California.
