I drive about 24,000 miles a year in commute traffic. With 0% financing and 60+ blended electric/gas mpg, I almost pay for the car in gas savings over the 2002 Camry it replaced. I got one of the last ones before California paused its carpool lane sticker program (electric and partial-electric vehicles get to use the carpool lanes) and the stickers have saved me a ton of time getting to/from work. I drove the Camry to work yesterday, I'm getting it ready to sell after sitting for a while. My commute to work is a 2-lane freeway surrounded by redwood trees over a 1700 foot pass or a windy country road surrounded by farms and trees. 6 cylinders, 190 HP and fatter, non low-rolling-resistance tires made for a much more fun drive... --- SBBSecho 2.33-Win32 * Origin: http://realitycheckbbs.org | tomorrow's retro tech (1:218/700) |
